man... didnt get to use the com in salzburg cause the hotel didnt have free internet... well... im currently in munich airport... been checkin my mail and other ppl's blog... leaving on plane in 1and half hours time... wah.. damn sianz -.-... words cannot express how i feel...
salzburg is beautiful... the scenery... and ppl... and the buildings... okay... just to let u noe... salzburg is the birthplace of mozart and the place where sound of music is filmed... yeah... so its a cool place... and i really mean cool... more like cold... its like suppose to be summer ritez now but it seems more like winter... its like snowin in the mountains... how crappy is that...
went to mozart's houses and learnt about his history... did u noe he wrote 125 books of songs... thats hell lot of stuff man... from operas to concertos... WOW!! among all the musicians durin his time... he travelled the most... yeah... partially its cause of his dad... so i spent one whole day on mozart only... hahah... he's like soo cool lor...
den went for a sound of music tour whereby they show u the places where the movie was shot... so yeah... haha.. hollywood is so smart... they combined many places into one... we were oso shown other places like the mountains and the lakes... oh... did u noe that salzburg is built on a mountain... yeah... so its like cold cold cold... the tour guide was really funny and knowledgeable... 90% of salzburg's popuplation is catholic... hence there are like 320 catholic churches in salzburg... or sth like that... cant remember if my facts are right... and like the only reason why the church was built so tall is cause no house nor buildin is allowed to be higher than it... hahaha... bet u didnt noe that... the churches are really gorgeous... its like built in many styles... from gothic to baroque... from middle ages to now... u can really tell that they are really old...
okay... den had a beautiful dinner last night... austrian dinner... haha... its like only a 3 course meal yet it was so filling... the king of austria, frany joseph the first, has 9-13 course meals in 45 minutes lah... and my 3 course meal took like 2 hours... no more than that...
tried to do shoppin but it was difficult cause the shops close really early and the prices are XXX... yeah... hahaha... and most of the time my family stayed in the hotel cause it was so cold... and it was like when we left the hotel... the sun was up... but when we return to the hotel around 7pm... the sun was still there... cool ritez... well that's wad summer is all about...
this mornin had to wake up at 4am to catch the coach at 5am... haix... feelin sleepy...
